Sibel Halimi is a sociologist and poet. Halimi is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology of the University of Prishtina with the topic "Body as a social construct: Towards the sociology of the body in Kosovo". So far she has published four works of poetry: "Garden of Sins" (2002), "Being does not live here" (2013), "Existence is the meaning itself", "God loves me" (2022) and the summary essay “Society on Alarm” (2017). Since 2004 she has been actively involved in studies, research in the field of gender studies and body sociology. She actively deals with the treatment of socio-philosophical problems, while her writings have been published in Albanian and foreign periodicals. She is known as a human rights activist, with a special emphasis on the rights of women and girls. Recently, Halimi was a candidate for mayor in the Municipality of Ferizaj in the 2021 local elections.

Teuta Sahatqija is a member of the Lidhja Demokratike e Kosoves Presidency and a member of the Department of Foreign Affairs. She is an Engineer, Master in Electronics and Certified Expert in Digital Transformation. Teuta has completed the Advanced Program on Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Dartmouth College, USA. Throughout her work Sahatqija demonstrated leadership characteristics, initially as engineer and manager, as director and founder of telecommunication companies and finally as a leader in politics. She has been a Member of Parliament for several terms, General Consul of Kosovo in New York, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Sahatqija is the co-founder of the Women Caucus, which she led in her fourth legislative term. She has been distinguished for establishing alliances between women from different parties and sectors. Sahatqija is the co-founder of the Regional Women's Lobby, KUSA, a US alumni association. Most recently she is the Director of Women in Tech Kosovo and Advisor to the Mayor of Pristina for Digitalization and Smart City. Teuta is known as an activist for the political, economic, social empowerment and most recently for the empowerment of women's digital.

Tinka Kurti is a Member of the Parliament from the ranks of the Vetevendosje Movement and the Chair of the Women Caucus. She is the Deputy Chair of the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Victims of Sexual Violence During the War, Missing Persons and Petitions. Since 2008 she has worked as a journalist in some of the Kosovo media, including the national television KTV, the investigative journalism network BIRN, and the organization ÇOHU. As an activist of VV, she was Chair of the Secretariat for Media and Communication for some time. She has published several authorial articles on labor rights, social equality, and political scandals. She completed her studies in Journalism at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Prishtina.

Vesa Broja is the Speaker of the Assembly in the Municipality of Mitrovica from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. Broja has been engaged as a member of the Steering Council of the PDK in the national level since 2018, she has been Chairwoman of the sub-branch in Mitrovica since 2018 and Secretary for Gender Issues at the PDK branch in Mitrovica. Broja has also been a member of the PDK Presidency in the Mitrovica branch from 2017. She completed her studies at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Prishtina, branch Telecommunication, receiving a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering.

Visar Ymeri is currently the Executive Director of the Institute for Social Policy Musine Kokalari in Pristina, Kosovo. Before this he was the Vice President of the Social Democratic Party for two years, and prior to that the President of the Self-determination Movement, a social democratic grassroots movement in which he has been involved since 2005. He served as a MP for three terms, where he sat in the joint Parliamentary Committee with the European Parliament on the Implementation of SAA Agreement, European Integration Parliamentary Committee, and Economic Development, trade and industry Parliamentary Committee. Ymeri has also worked as Public Relations Officer at the Kosovo Pension Savings Trust, and as Deputy Editor at the national TV station “Kohavision”. Ymeri has studied Sociology at the University of Prishtina and Media Studies, Politics, Literature and Philosophy at City and Islington College in London.

Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu was born on May 17, 1982 in Mitrovica, Republic of Kosovo. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Prishtina and holds a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in International Law from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, USA. From 2006 to 2010 Vjosa Osmani served as Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fatmir Sejdiu as well as the appointed Senior Advisor on Legal Affairs and International Relations. During this time, Osmani represented the President in the Commission for the drafting of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and was also a member of the Republic of Kosovo’s International Court of Justice legal team successfully defending the international legality of Kosovo’s Declaration of Independence. President Osmani later served as a Republic of Kosovo Member of Parliament having been elected to five consecutive terms. As an M.P. she chaired the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on European Integration and was the Deputy Chair of the Committee on Constitutional Reform respectively. She served as the first female Speaker of Parliament from 3 February 2020, and as Acting President from 5 November 2020 – holding both offices until 22 March 2021. It was during her last term in Parliament that she stood as a candidate for President receiving the highest number of votes of any candidate in the history of Kosovo’s Parliament. By vote of the Parliament of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani was elected and sworn in as President of the Republic on 4 April 2021. Dr. Osmani has lectured at the University of Prishtina, the American University of Kosovo (RIT), and the University of Pittsburgh. In 2017, she received the University of Pittsburgh Sheth International Young Alumni Achievement Award and has served as a Board Member to the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and IMF.

Vlora Çitaku is the Deputy Chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). She is a diplomat who served as the Ambassador of Kosovo to the United States. She formerly served as Consul General of Kosovo in New York. Before joining Kosovo's diplomatic corps, Vlora served as Minister for European integration of Kosovo. She was noted as one of the most successful ministers of the 2011-2014 Kosovo government. She relinquished her MP seat in the Kosovo Assembly upon taking the governmental position, which she won as one of the top three most voted candidates. Vlora Çitaku was only a teen when she became an interpreter and a stringer for major Western news outlets at the onset of the Kosovo war. She later became a refugee during the Kosovo War and has been involved with politics since 1999. She initially became spokesperson for the KLA and joined the PDK after the formation of the party in post-war Kosovo. She was a Member of Parliament in two mandates. She states that she has overcome the stereotypes in politics that one must be old and a man. She was the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs between 18 October 2010 and 22 February 2011.

Xhemajl Rexha has been working within Kosovo media since January 2005, starting his work as a journalist with national private TV Channel, Kohavision (KTV) and ending it as the Editor In-Chief. He has covered the main political and social events in Kosovo and the region, from Vienna talks about Kosovo independence to the full election cycles for almost two decades. He created and hosted “Interaktiv”, the most watched nightly current show on KTV since 2009 until he left last year to join the newly created Kanal10 TV station, where he is Director of News Desk and runs a nightly current affairs show “Prime Time”. Mr. Rexha has been involved with different programs of the US Government and US Embassy in Kosovo over the years. Currently he is the Chairman of Association of Kosovo Journalists Board.
