Cathy Allen, President of “Connections Group”

Cathy Allen, has spent the past twenty years working to help communities, governments, non-profit associations and women’s groups better communicate to the press, the public and politicians. Her creative approach to changing communication strategies includes targeting, message development and media relations. 

Allen has conducted trainings and been a consultant in more than 34 states worldwide. She has conducted workshops on achieving power for dozens of organizations such as the National Education Association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Business & Professional Women, National Parent’s & Teacher’s Association, the National League of Women Voters as well as a number of institutions including Harvard, Yale, Oberlin, the University of Washington, and Michigan State University. Allen has run or consulted with more than 500 winning campaigns, (75% women) from mayors to governors, from state legislators to the U.S. Congress, from initiatives to slates of women endorsed by women candidates. Cathy serves on the Board of the American Association of Political Consultants


Bonnie Brownlee, Communication Adviser

Bonnie Brownlee is a communications consultant who works with and mentors on-air employees for CTV and Bell Media in Canada.   She has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, international media relations, and political campaign management.  As Senior Vice President for CTV network in Canada, Brownlee led the CTV team that provided international TV coverage of the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.

In her career, Brownlee has worked with and advised politicians, candidates, Prime Ministers retail corporations and members of the Royal family in the United Kingdom.  She has studied at Harvard and Carleton Universities as well as the National Defense College in Canada. 


Pamela Hart, President and owner, “Release Your Voice”

Pamela Hart has a Masters Degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Non-Verbal behavior from the University of Missouri St. Louis. Trained in the art of public speaking, presentation and the use of words she has 20 years experience on the stage and screen in New York and throughout North America.

She is also a graduate of Oxford University and has worked extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Before attending Harvard, Pamela entered the business world as media account executive there she directed and developed accounts in radio and television. She is owner and President of “Release your Voice” a successful public speaking firm that trains on the art of public speaking and powerful presentations.  Hart has worked extensively with corporate executives, entrepreneurs, public service and politicians.
